Pure Wedding Perfection- Ogetay & Alex
We were delighted when Ogetay & Alex chose Nonsuch Mansion as their wedding venue. This quirky, cool couple based in London decided to tie the knot at Nonsuch Mansion on Friday 1st July 2016.
The end result of all their hard work was incredible… and just in 4 months !!!
Heres a little story of the love, emotion and happiness from Ogetay & Alex’s special day….
Ogetay’s day began in the pampering suite with her bridal party. The girls had a fabulous time drinking champagne and getting excited for the day ahead.
Alex and their guests were eagerly waiting downstairs for the ceremony to start. The Orchid Room was full of pretty pink, white and a hint of gold arrangements with the wonderful sound of our string quartet, Blue Topaz . As guests made their way into the Orchid Room everyone was absorbed in the moment.
2:00pm struck.. its time…
With her five bridesmaids and two flowers girls Ogetay’s entrance was undoubtedly wonderful.
The lovely couple glared into the eyes of each other – pure picture perfection. Their family and friends around them congratulate them by huge smiles, laughter and cheer.
Ogetay & Alex head outside for the famous confetti shots and endless congratulated hugs swiftly followed by chilled glasses of Aperol Spritz and vodka cocktails.
Their fantastic photographer Chris Giles is clearly great at capturing natural expressions.
Whilst the guests are occupied with Panama hats, fans and hay bales our bride and groom stepped away from the everlasting buzz to capture precious, enduring moments together.
The King and Queen of the Mansion look absolutely smitten and over joyed, the photographs of the couple are oh-so- romantic!
After a short while its time for Ogetay & Alex to rejoin their guests, where their yummy three course meal begins. The menu was created and designed to personally match the couples liking.
As the couple head back the Orchid Room, it has magically turned into the Wedding Breakfast set up, with the help from one of our close florist Madelaine Pink
The guests enjoyed a feast of..
Fresh handmade single asparagus ravioli with herb emulsion and micro shoots
***
Rare roast fillet of beef, dauphinoise potatoes, caramelised shallots, fresh spinach and red wine jus
***
Trio of desserts: Chocolate pave with raspberry coulis, passion fruit panna cotta and vanilla ice cream served on popping candy
As the evening sun sets, the guests await for the inspirational heartfelt speeches. They steadily move into the Rose Room where the evening partying starts ….
The dancefloor was busy all evening courtesy of our very fun DJ- Steven Boys. The party continued into the night starting with cake cutting and the dreamy first dance. May I say, their elegant semi naked cake looks almost too good to eat (Cakes by Andi Freeman )
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their day, it was deeply special, we wish Ogetay and Alex all the best for their exciting future. Once again congratulations to them both !!
