Keep Calm and Marry On!

Posted by Nonsuch Mansion

As an experienced events team, dealing with an unexpected hitch is all in a day’s work for us. In fact, you name it, we’ve dealt with it – from transport issues, to fainting guests, to late grooms, to bad weather… honestly we could write a book with our tips! If we were super heroes, our special power would be staying cool under pressure and saving the day with calm rays and cake.

Here’s a lovely (really lovely) thank you letter from a grateful mother-of-the-bride. We wanted to share it because it reminded us of one of the many reasons why we love doing our job.

It was our absolute pleasure Mrs H. We’re so glad we could help such a fantastic family and to make your day memorable for the right reasons.

Dear all,

I just wanted to send a message of sincere thanks to all that made my daughter S’s wedding such a beautiful celebration last (week)…. I want to send them both a personal thankyou for saving the day for my daughter S and my new son in law R and all our guests. Their effortless efficiency and calmness made it all very special in what could have turned into a total disaster, I cannot thank you enough.

Everyone involved ensured that S and R and all their guests had a day to remember and even with the fiasco of the coach company you all remained calm and composed and still made sure that the day went smoothly. I cannot commend you enough for all your help that day.

My deepest thanks to the chef, who even with almost an hour delay presented a sumptuous meal that all our guests enjoyed and have made many complimentary comments about. The dessert especially was divine.

The mansion is glorious , the setting beautiful but it is you the staff that are truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was helpful and friendly,  we all had a fantastic day and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it so.

Best Wishes and  Grateful Thanks

Mrs H
