A Rather Nice Thank you Letter

Posted by Nonsuch Mansion

This thank you email was just so lovely, we decided to post the whole thing on our blog!

Hello Benita,

Further to our telephone conversation this afternoon please accept this email as a formal compliment to you and the staff of Bovingdons catering.

I hosted my 50th birthday party at Nonsuch Mansion on 17th April 2010 and I have to say a huge thank you to the staff who went out of their way to ensure that absolutely every detail was in place both in preparation and throughout the event.

Having never hosted such an event, I welcomed the friendly advice, guidance and reassurance whilst making plans, including 3 personalised visits to the mansion.

When I nervously arrived for the actual party, I was met by Tony (superstar!) who ran through the plan for the evening and left me with complete confidence that I really didn’t need to worry any more!

Throughout the whole evening, I received repeated compliments from my guests about the party venue, the attention to detail, the food, the staff and their service – in particluar was the menu and quality of the food, the open fires and flowers on the mantles and the hurricane lamps lighting the pathways outside.

Using all of the rooms worked so well and again has been complimented as guests feeling free to wander from room to room and each of the rooms having a different ‘theme’ ie dancing, chatting, drinking.  My personal memory is from time to time, I walked through all of the rooms and the pleasure it gave me to see everyone looking so relaxed and happy.

Since the party, I have received numerous messages of thanks for such a beautiful evening and I would like to convey these thanks, along with my own, to your team who played a huge part of ensuring that my ‘special’ birthday is now remembered in a very special way.

Once my photos are sent to me I will forward a selection to you.

Thank you once again and I wish you every success for the future of Nonsuch.

 Kind regards

Claire
