Thank you! Something Special…

Posted by Nonsuch Mansion

One of the most lovely thank you letters from a really fun, bright and colourful Spring wedding. Great photos from photographer Sofie Hughes and flowers by Michelle Rust.

Dear Lucy, Helen, Grace, Jade + team!

This should have been sent a month ago (apologies for the lateness of this note) but we just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for making our wedding… so amazing. It really was the best day of our lives.

From our very first meeting we knew there was something special about Nonsuch Mansion.

We loved the venue but we also saw the passion and positive energy from everyone who works there. You were brilliant at guiding us through all the wedmin that needed to be done and answering our  many questions in the lead up to our wedding day. We were both so relaxed on the day and able to properly enjoy every second of it – and that was thanks to all your hard work at getting us ready!

Lucy and Helen – you handled our very “lively” family and friends remarkably! We have had many fantastic comments back from our friends and family about our wedding, but recurring feedback was:

The food – it was delicious and lots of our guests have said it is the best food they have ever tasted at a wedding. Thank you (and Julie + team at Bovingdon’s) for helping us create our Asian fusion menu – it was divine. And the cheese cake/tower was incredible and so tasty!

The venue – you really understand the venue and what works best in each room, and how to best utilise the space. The venue is stunning and works in all weather conditions!

So thank you very much again for making our wedding day as special as it was – we look forward to making many visits back to Nonsuch Park on our wedding anniversary in years to come.

Lots of love

C and Z

P.S Our florist and photographer were also amazing and we would 100% recommend them.

Our flowers were created by Michelle Rust – she created the most brilliant bright coloured spring flowers (we didn’t want a colour theme), ranging from different coloured bridesmaid bouquets to large fish bowls centre pieces, to amazing displays above the fireplaces. Michelle is super lovely and was great at turning our thoughts into ideas that could be produced with flowers in season. www.michellerust.co.uk

Our photographer was Sofie Hughes, who actually got married at Nonsuch herself. She was great on the day, she didn’t get in the way but got all the necessary pics done without stressing us. The photos are absolutely stunning – the highlights can be found on her website blog:
