Introducing our new stationer, Adele!

Posted by Nonsuch Mansion

We are super excited to be able to introduce you to Adele, one of our fabulous new recommended stationers. Who we are really excited to work with. She has very kindly designed a blog piece of the 2017 stationary trends, which we are delighted to share with you!

Stationary Trends 2017

Adele the creative director and designer at Adele Wedding Stationery gives her predictions for wedding stationery designs in 2017!

1. BLUSH

Blush Pink is still HUGE on the wedding scene and we can all see why. Blush pink is such a beautifully classic and timeless colour. Soft and delicate and a beautiful accent to any wedding.

2. METALLICS

Untitled

Metallics are still a top favourite. Copper and rose gold being on trend for 2017. It’s a beautiful way to add a touch of glam to your wedding stationery.

3.BLUE-GREYs & STONE

Untitled

Blue-greys started to make a surprise appearance last year as trend-setting brides chose to mix up already trendy metallics with something a bit different. So expect to see more bluey-grey hues appearing this wedding seasons as more beautiful brides dare to be different.

4.TEXTURED PAPERS

Who doesn’t love a bit of textured paper? It’s luscious to feel and oozes quality and opulence. My personal prediction is that we will also continue to see a rise in the popularity of shimmering pearl card stock too. It was a massive favourite in 2016!

5.PERSONALISATION

Untitled

Couples are opting more than ever to personalise as many aspects of their wedding as possible. Last year there was a huge demand for my bespoke creations. I’m predicting that brides will continue to look for that something extra special in 2017 and bespoke designs will continue to be a massive trend.

6.AND LET’S NOT FORGET…
THE PANTONE COLOUR OF THE YEAR…
Greenery!

I have to say I’ve rarely seen a Pantone Colour of the Year catch on as a colour of choice for real weddings. Every year just after the colour is announced there is usually a plethora of mood boards popping up showcasing how a wedding might look featuring the chosen Pantone shade. Do I think Greenery will feature heavily on wedding stationery this year? Maybe not. I think we might see more foliage in the floral arrangements on the day but I don’t think we’ll be seeing many bridesmaids in pantone green.

If you’d like to see any of the designs above you can come see Adele at our Wedding Fair on the 19th February 11am to 3pm or pop over to her website for more information.
