Jade,

We just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how happy we were with last Friday. We both had such a fantastic day and it was all so well organised by everyone at Nonsuch that we didn’t have to think or worry about anything.

Andy was amazing and just seemed to always be there at the right time. He welcomed the evening guests and made them feel instantly at home as the speeches were over-running. He very quickly re-arranged the tables in the Orchid room so we could cut the cake and do the first dance in there as the band had taken up so much space in the other room.

There were many comments from the guests about how well looked after they were at the bar and when they were sat at dinner. My aunt didn’t feel singled out to be getting a slightly different meal, it was just there in the right place when everyone else got theirs. Thank you for being so flexible for the very last-minute changes, it was completely unexpected but didn’t pose a problem.

The food was absolutely incredible all the way through. Everyone really enjoyed it and particularly the pasties in the evening, some even said they were the best pasties they’d ever had! The wine and prosecco was beautiful and all in all James and I couldn’t have enjoyed our day any more. You’ve been brilliant at getting back to us so quickly with any queries and we would do it all over again at Nonsuch if we could.

Many thanks for everything and good luck for the rest of the busy wedding season!

Love Jennie & James

Great video showing how important the dancefloor and the DJ are to any celebration.

This film was made by John Harris and shows the incredible dance floor by DJ Steven Boys from the (wonderful) First Dance DJs and their “Diamond Package”.

Thank you – A breath of fresh air…

Dear Jade, Lucy, Julie and Andy

You provided a breath of fresh air in a very stilted wedding venue market. You were so accommodating when we proposed a French style wedding with a family meal. You devised a menu which reflected our ideas and which our guests said was outstanding, many wanting the recipes. Guests faces lit up when huge terrines of pâté were placed in the middle of each table and the selection of French wines and cheeses were made with real care. Thank you
Julie for the tarte au citron which I will definitely be making soon. The alternative type of meal was so appreciated and provided a relaxed and fun ambiance. You were so flexible, appreciating our ideas including when we wanted to tie ribbons across the aisle in the ceremony and keep the same plates and cutlery throughout the typically French meal. The styling which we had sourced was displayed beautifully and your attention to detail was greatly appreciated by this very particular bride. Many thanks for arranging the flowers in the 30 tiny vases!
The day was fantastic and your calm, friendly and professional manner meant that we could really relax and celebrate our day surrounded by family and friends knowing that you were working hard behind the scenes to make it special.
Many thanks
Di and David

Thank you – even better than I could possibly have imagined!

Posted By the Nonsuch Mansion Team on April 6, 2013

Hi Lucy,

Just wanted to pop you a quick email before we head (off on) our mini moon tomorrow to say. Thank you so much for everything that you did yesterday and all your help and support during the planning process.

Throughout the process you and all the rest of the team (Special mention to Jade) just made everything so incredibly easy, you found the perfect balance of listening to exactly what we wanted whilst sharing your experience and ideas.

At times I think Paul found it difficult to picture my vision for the day – especially as our flat slowly filled more and more candles and bits and bobs, but after every meeting with you I felt that you had 100% understood exactly what I was trying to achieve, and yesterday you made my vision look even better than I could possibly have imagined!

The dedication you showed our wedding was just amazing, if I hadn’t known better I would have thought we were the only wedding you were arranging, you always seemed genuinely interested in everything we were doing, even though I’m sure you’d seen many of the ideas a number of times before. You also went above and beyond what I would have expected from a venue- helping sort out the band when I was beginning to doubt my decision to book them and recommending so many brilliant suppliers. Literally the only way you could improve on a Nonsuch Mansion wedding is if you guys could find a way to make a twenty-eight hour wedding day!

All of our guests commented on what an amazing venue Nonsuch was, how great the food was and how wonderful all of the staff were. You were all so accommodating of our rather lively group! I couldn’t believe that you were still there when were leaving, I just assumed you had left hours before. I hope you didn’t stay late because we were causing trouble? I think a few people enjoyed the wine… a little too much…

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Lindsey and Paul

Another GREAT Wedding Fair – Thank you!

Posted By the Nonsuch Mansion Team on March 27, 2013

Thank you to our wonderful suppliers and couples who came to enjoy themselves at our wedding fair last weekend. As these Lloyd Dobbie photos show, the weather didn’t stop us all from having great fun, being inspired and making decisions.

Thank you: Everything We imagined

Some lovely words from a bride who was interviewed for the Rock My Wedding blog.

“We tried to make our wedding as relaxed as possible so it was important to have a venue that reflected this. We absolutely fell in love with Nonsuch Mansion because it’s such a striking venue and the team there are so relaxed and accommodating. We were given so much flexibility to have the day that we wanted and we knew from the moment that we met Lucy, our fabulous Wedding Coordinator at Nonsuch that we couldn’t have been in better hands! Having heard horror stories from friends and family about rigid and inflexible rules in their wedding venues, we will be forever grateful to Nonsuch for being the polar opposite.”

Surrey_Wedding_Venue_Gorgeous

It really was the most amazing day for us and we can’t thank you enough for being so flexible and well organised throughout the whole thing.

And thanks to Julie for all her hard work in the run up…it was great to have such an experienced ear to bounce our ideas around with.

So many people have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and we think a lot of that was down to your quick thinking and can do attitude….especially with the unbelievable weather!!

We feel absolutely privileged to have been able to have our wedding at Nonsuch and will treasure the memories of our nearest and dearest having such a good knees up for the rest of our lives!

Thanks again and much love,

Shelley and Steve xxx
